CJC-1295 NO DAC (Modified GRF 1–29) is a shorter, stabilized GHRH analog intended to stimulate endogenous growth hormone release without the extended albumin-binding component used in DAC formulations. The protocol notes amino-acid substitutions that increase resistance to enzymatic degradation, allowing the peptide to persist long enough to trigger distinct GH pulses. Mechanistically, it binds GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotroph cells, increasing synthesis and pulsatile secretion of growth hormone. A central theme is physiologic patterning: because the stimulus is upstream (GHRH receptor signaling), the body’s normal feedback loops remain engaged, helping maintain more natural pulsatility compared with exogenous GH administration. The page also describes a short half-life (on the order of tens of minutes), which supports a “pulse-like” endocrine profile. In summary, it works by transiently activating GHRH receptors to drive natural GH pulses and downstream IGF-1 signaling.

Headache
- Use aseptic technique: wipe vial stopper with alcohol; use new sterile syringe/needle
- Add diluent slowly down the vial wall to minimize foaming
- Gently swirl/roll until fully dissolved (do not shake)
- Label vial with reconstitution date and concentration; protect from light
- Refrigerate after reconstitution (commonly 2–8 °C) unless protocol states otherwise
- Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles
- Bacteriostatic Water for Injection contains benzyl alcohol preservative (multi-dose); follow protocol for beyond-use (many peptide protocols use ~28 days after mixing)
- Avoid benzyl-alcohol-containing diluents in neonates/infants (safety warning for benzyl alcohol)
